Clay modelling, first steps
When I started the sculpture classes at the Academy of Rhok Arts in Brussels, my teacher asked me to do something that would integrate two concepts, both geometric and figurative. I remembered a painting by Dalí that I always admired, "Geopolitical Child looking at the birth of the new man" and I did not hesitate to try to do this as an interesting challenge.
I think it's not bad as a first work modelled in clay but I always think that it could be better. Someday I´ll make it again.
Love the details and it looks very very fragile, thumbs up.
As fragile as an egg! That was the goal.
