MY VERY OWN COLORFUL PARROT ART!!!
Most people recognize parrot as sound mimicking birds. But parrot are not just only that. But first let me tell you what I've learned about Parrot!
These vividly colored birds signifies more than 300 species of of the order of Psittaciformes (scientific name). Parrots are easily distinguished by their short-curved beaks, large heads, short necks and feet and a reverse toes which aid along with their beaks for climbing and grasping seeds. Most of these birds eats seeds and fruit and a well-developed crops to soften food.
There are three families in the order Psittaciformes. The Loridae, Cacatuidae, and the Psittacidae. Under Loridae are Lories and Lorikeets, under Cacatuidae are the Cockatoos and the last one Psittacidae have the true parrots, MACAWS, PARAKEETS, BUDGERIGARS, CONURES, LOVEBIRDS, OWL and PIGMY PARROTS and such unusual forms as KEAS and VULTURINE PARROTS.

Some species are known for imitating human voices.
Most parrot species rely on seeds as food. Others may eat fruit, nectar, flowers or small insects.
Parrots such as the budgerigar (budgie) and cockatiel are popular as pets.
Some parrot species can live for over 80 years.
They have four-chambered hearts
The Scarlet Macaw can break nutshells with it's strong beak.
African Grey Parrot is the most intelligent bird and it can also learn a THOUSAND words or more
Like all love birds, the masked love bird exhibits the strongest attachment to it's mate

I'm amazed with the species of this bird!! So I have made an art for this wonderful and colorful bird.
And I chose the Scarlet Makaw which is the most popular species of Parrot!!

STEPS IN MAKING THE PARROT ARTWORK
1ST STEP:
Since I'm using a photo paper I used an 8B pencil to make a body frame for the parrot. So I can easily conceptualize my idea to draw it. A parrot who can fly and spread it's wing freely is a nice concept which give's a lot of meaning. We can draw by thinking of some ideas or we can draw by our very own emotions, we can express it in an artistic ways.
2nd STEP:
So now im going to Draw the full details of my art, using Calligraphy Pen and UniPin. So below are the Part by Part drawing of the Parrot! Hope it can help you learn by showing you the step by step process. ^_^
AND NOW WE'RE DONE THROUGH THE OUTLINE DRAWING OF OUR ART! WE HAVE COMPLETED THE DETAILS OF THE PARROT!!
SO NOW WE ARE GOING TO FINAL STEP WHICH IS THE COLORING USING COLOR MARKERS!
COLORING THE MAIN BODY PARTS WITH BRIGHT MARKERS, I CONCIOUSLY PUT EXCESS COLORS OUTSIDE THE OBJECT TO MAKE IT MORE ARTISTIC AND ALIVE!
THEN WE NEED TO TRASITIONALLY COLOR THE FEATHERS ON THE WINGS SINCE IT'S NOT COMPOSED OF ONLY A SINGLE MAJOR COLOR! SO I COLOR IT FROM THE LIGHT MARKER TO THE DARKEST MARKER THAT IS NECESSARY TO MAKE A GOOD COLOR OUTPUT!
I ALSO USED THE SAME PROCESS TO THE TAIL! ^_^
SO WE'RE DONE FINALLY TO OUR OBJECT!
SO LET US MOVED TO THE COLORING OF THE BACKGROUND!!
WHILE COLORING THE BACKGROUND I ALSO PUT SOME SHADINGS TO THE PARROT AND I HIGHLIGHTED THE OUTLINES!
AND HERE IS AN OUTPUT THROUGH THE SCANNER!

mura lang sa pandayan , di ko tanda pero mga around 60 pesos lang siguro yon.
Ikaw nga ang idol hahaha, simple lang drawing materials mo pero mukhang realistic na sa sobrang detailed. ang angas hahaha
