I have heard it said many times before, and I believe it to be true:

Happiness is a Decision!

This artwork commemorates that fact. It is a drawing of my wife @denisechips. The technique I used here was a continuous line drawing. Then I edited it while still keeping all the black lines connected.

This particular piece of art took just a little bit of extra mental discipline to create because a continuous line drawings can be challenging to make. That is because, in this method of art, the artist cannot take the pen off of the paper until the drawing is finished. This results in a drawing composed only of one long and uninterupted line.

In like manner, sometimes it may take extra and much more focused mental discipline to remind us to "rejoice in the Lord always," as the Bible says. Yet in good times or bad, let's always stay connected to this fact: that happiness is a decision.
