- Sinopsis -
Sheldon is a senior theoretical physicist at Caltech and for the first ten seasons of The Big Bang Theory, shares an apartment with his colleague and best friend, Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki). He is a former child prodigy with genius-level IQ, but displays an almost total lack of social skills, a tenuous understanding of humor, and difficulty recognizing irony and sarcasm in other people, although he himself often employs them. He exhibits highly idiosyncratic behavior and a general lack of humility or empathy. He also lacks toleration. These characteristics provide the majority of the humor involving him, which has caused him to be described as the show's breakout character.
Some viewers have asserted that Sheldon's personality is consistent with Asperger syndrome, obsessive–compulsive disorder, and asexuality. Co-creator Bill Prady has stated that Sheldon's character was neither conceived nor developed with regard to any of these traits, although Parsons has said that in his opinion, Sheldon "couldn't display more traits" of Asperger's.
We see a poster that sinthetize the traits of the character. There are soo many way to do it. But that we will se next is the step by step progress of the vectorial illustration.

1. Chose a interesting picture
Sheldon is curious character, we can reconize him with his particular smile. As we are talking about a portrait this picture complies with the parameters that we need.
Once the photo is selected and placed in the format we proceed to draw the most marked traits before applying the color. Do it with patience, remember that our composition starts from here and that is why we must be careful with the level of detail.
Play with the pen to make the curved parts like his mouth. We need to create the feeling of softness and naturalness. On the other hand, the clothes have a The Flash draw, there should not be any problem there.

3. The Funny part : Apply the color
Depending on the theme of the character you will choose a color palette that suits him. Sheldon is a Nerd. A complementary colors of yellow and violet is good choice. .
It looks flat, but do not worry about that at first. Just keep playing with the gradient of the colors you have chose.
Now we will draw the brightest forms of the image in order to generate a balanced gradient. This synthesis has 5 layers of color, but this is subjective, that means you can do 10 if you want, but do not forget to add brightness with something close to white.
Only the finals touches!
3. Typography
This is a lover of comics, why not portray him as if he was a superhero? or as if we were talking about a cartoon of the 60's and 70's when the colors were striking. Then add a typeface of this style (Badaboom) and see how your poster takes flight.
Add Pop textures, add textures Pop, play with the planes. Do what you want to get an optimal result. You can add vector elements that are in the concept of the character, such as an atom.
