How to make a swan using a sheet of paper " The Origami "
Origami from ori meaning "folding", and kami meaning "paper it part of Japanese culture an art of folding creating different figure like swan, frog, boat , bear, kite and etc.
Today I will show to you how to make an art using paper and turn it into a swan figure.
I learned how to make a paper swan when I was in Elementary. My classmate taught me how to make it and how to do it step by step.
Prepare a piece of bond paper its up to you if you want to use the plain one or a special paper with color. What I have here is a plain short size bond paper.
make a triangular fold like this.
Cut the excess portion after you make a fold to make a perfect square.
Fold the paper point by point like a triangle, do it twice in both sides.
Fold the paper this way side to side, do it twice in both sides.
This time fold the paper differently as what you can see in this image I provided, do it in the four corners.
Easily fold the paper pulling the center and bi-fold triangularly. follow to the image that I provided on how to do it.
After that fold you will get this result as what you can see in the image.
Now we are on the last and final fold. Make a small triangular fold that will serve as the head of our paper swan. Position the wings properly so that it will like a swan. By following the images I provided, now you can have your own paper swan.
That's it! I hope this step by step process using my own captured images, plus the simple walkthrough on how do it. Will be easy for you to create you own paper swan and learning some other Origami designs. You can make an art using your piece of sheet and you can do it at home or even at work. You can also do some research if you want to learn other animals or insects designs it is available in web. Thank you!!
