David was a young shepherd, who at one time had an opponent who exceeded him in height and strength. But David was not afraid of the giant's appearance and armed himself with courage and with a wave using a rock projectile, with a single launch he defeated the giant Goliath by giving him a fatal blow to the head and causing it to collapse like a ruined building .
