PENCIL: Snake Lookin Pirate Archer
I haven't been drawing as much, but I've still been playing Splinterlands every day.
I don't even really use this card, but it was cheap to MAX and it's a good idea to have strong cards that only eat up 2 MANA. They can really save the day sometimes. Right now is a great time to strengthen your deck because the market is full of great deals.

My newly maxed WATER card for inspiration. I quit playing and sold off all of my cards in August. It was such a big mistake. I've crawled my way back, but I'm not near the top 300 players like last year. This is a healthy game that continues to evolve in meaningful ways. It's still a great time to become a professional player.
The circles always work for getting the shapes down.
Nothing for sure yet. Just soft penciling for now.
I like to finish a random part of the drawing, then sketch out from there. Looking back at the final step, I can't stop noticing how much darker the glove is compared to the rest of the drawing now.
I thought a pirate should have a patch and a beard. I wasn't going for Snake, but it's more pirate like.
I kept the shirt the same, but added some chest and armpit hair. Why would a pirate shave? He's got cigars to smoke and fire arrows to shoot. Ain't nobody got time for that!
Just add some pants and a bow and we're done here.
Thanks for sketching with me today. See you on the battlefield!
