New Treasure Chest for my VR game VR Dungeon
Today, I 3D modeled a new treasure chest for my VR game VR Dungeon
How did I do it?
I began with the modeling in Maya. Maya is a professional 3D suit.
After the modeling part, I switched over to Substance Painter 2.
There I textured the whole chest. Then I was done and did a simple render.
I made two versions:
Do you like the result? Which one do you like more?
Within the next update the chest will be implemented into VR Dungeon.

I used Substance Painter for quite some time as well, it's such a superb software. It made the texturing and baking workflow in the pipeline realyl really enjoyable. I was like popping out one texture after the other when I started off, hehe :)
Right now I am doing more just 3D modelling. When I get back to do more in the 3D pipeline (including especially texturing) I will definitely jump back on Substance Painter :)
Yes, Substance Painter is awesome! The baking is very usefull because you don't need to UV the object very good xD The workflow is just awesome!
Haha, true. I hated putting in a lot of thought and fiddling around with creating great UV's that work well to paint textures on before SP! :P
