Art mix up contest / 05 jarradlevi _Silicone Mask
I am currently working on a new mask and I am quite happy with how its coming along.
Silicone mask making incorperates many different abilities such as sculpting, mold making, painting and hair punching. With this current scuplt I am learning so much more about textures and detailing. I have started using latex stamps made by brushing latex over different parts of my own skin to press into the clay. This method has helped me in learning how to create these skin textures myself with sculpting tools. 
When I am happy with the sculpt I will mold and cast it in silicone then prepare it for painting. I am only getting better at this and hopefully my application seeking a grant to fund my art is successful.
LOVE it! what a unique form to work in. as art i'm a huge fan of sculpture:)
Thanks #espchange it's been a long ride learning how to do it and a lot of failures, but I learn from my mistakes. The monster clay is a great medium to work with.
