Amazing 3D Tattoos!

in #art8 years ago

howdy folks and greetings from the Great Plains of North Texas!

I was just reading about Cole Younger who was a famous Old West
outlaw who killed alot of people, robbed alot of banks, lost almost all
of his family members who got shot up in their criminal acts.

He did 25 years in prison for all the people he killed and then got out
and became a successful author and an upstanding citizen so I guess
even cold-blooded killers can change!

I'm doing a series of posts on him because he's one of those crazy Old
West gunfighters and bad guys that wrecked havoc on civilization back
in the 1800's.

Just one of the guys who built this country! lol. Hey he's part of the
foundation of the West, ya'll back East don't have to claim him.

Anyway I came across some 3D tattoos today that I think you may
find interesting. The artists are amazingly talented and the tats are
bizarre but that's what we like around here isn't it?

here check these out:

All of these are from the site inkme.tattoo and this is just a small
sampling. Obviously you can have any type of design or image you
want and they can do it.

I have no idea how much these things cost but with the complexity
and skill involved I think it's safe to say that you better have alot of
money saved up!

I'm just a simple country boy so maybe I'm easy to impress but I'm
blown away by these! Whatda ya'll think? Would you consider getting
any of these tats? And how much would you pay? lol.

well that's all for today folks, God bless you all!

I would never think of ruining my beautiful skin with tattoos. haha...

ha! I know what you mean sir quotes-haven! but hey, look how much attention you could get? get one of the steemit icon and advertise for steemit! lol.

I don't need that sort of attention. I am comfortable in my own skin. Steemit will have to be willing to pay me - a lot! lol

hahaha! yes just wait till steemit starts paying people to advertise steemit by wearing tattoos! lol.

I’ll say there’s some real great talent there! I’m not sure what goes through a person’s mind when they pick out some of those designs to live with forever though. There have been a few times in the past where I considered getting a tattoo, but in the end, I could never commit. Good thing too, because God tells us not to get tattoos.

After 2 minute see this. I still don`t understand what angel looking here
lovely article sir

Astonishingly amazing! nothing else

haha! thank you hamg96 I'm glad you liked them, so did I and thanks for commenting!

You always welcome

They are class. Have you any tatoos yourself @janton?

ha! no do you? is it common in Ireland? In this part of Texas it's rare but when we lived in Ohio EVERYONE had them, most were covered with them and piercings too.

Nah. Wouldn’t know what to get. You should get Steemit somewhere but they might think you bat for the other side then ! 😂😂😂. Funny name for a website “Steemit”

ha! yes sir blanchy..of all the stuff I've seen on this platform, all the products and what have you with the steemit icon I don't think I've seen a steemit tattoo so I think it would be a good marketing tool for yourself to get one, be the first!
you'd be known as the steemit tattoo guy! especially if you got one on your forehead!

I was thinking more around the arse area. Job interviews can be troublesome with a tattooed forehead

hahaha! you don't think they would look past the tattoo huh blanchy?

Hi @janton. Great artwork but I still find them offputting. I just don'rt see it. Why would anyone want to wreck their body by doing this. I saw an old lady a few weeks ago and she had an arm full of them and with her wrinkled skin I couldn't make out the wording and still have no idea.

Know a girl that got aryton senna on her belly. She got pregnant . Arytons helmet is now up around her boob and the car is stretched. On the other hand , some saw it as a foretelling

haha! I know..when people get old and wrinkled it looks like crap.
Some of the ones on the back may hold up longer but I don't know. I don't have any but I think the artwork is ..well some of it..is mind-blowing.
thank you sir for commenting.

wow! Some of those are crazy detailed! The tool with the pencil behind his ear has to be a redneck lol

hahaha! I LOVE that one, maybe that's why! or the other guy with the bald head, old "brick head" ..that could be a redneck too.

but would you consider any of those? the butterfly? the mouth in that ladies neck?? gruesome man.
are you back now?

Oh wow. Those are incredible!! All I can think is how the ER staff would react if most of those folks were ever in an accident and brought in unconscious. They would take their clothes off and in some cases jump out of their skin with a loud yelp.

hahaha! squirrelbait! that is so funny, I never thought of that situation! ha! or they'd get disoriented and wouldn't be able to figure out where to give them a shot with the needle. haha very good.

A lot of these tattoos aren't going to look that great a year or two down the road. But they look a million times better than the average tattoos out there!

howdy sir mikeycolon! you're the professional photographer if I remember correctly. Really, they break down that fast? do you happen to have an idea of the cost of some of the complex ones?

Any tattoo with color will fade - it's inevitable. The black and gray will age more gracefully.

Some people get their tattoos redone to touch it up.

As for the cost - it depends on how good the artist is. I'd say on average if you go to a professional tattoo artist with experience, you're looking at least $200 per hour on the low end.

I'd rather over-pay a great tattoo artist as opposed to saving money!

haha! howdy sir mikeycolon! thanks so much for the information, that is quite remarkable but makes perfect sense. I mean some of the artists that do this have to be rare talents.
I agree. over pay a great one!
thank you sir.

You're welcome- have a great rest of your weekend!

WOW those are amazing tattoos

haha! I thought you'd like those JJ in fact I was thinking about you when I put this together. Probably led me to the tattoo page too because I had just read one of your posts, didn't know what to post about then thought about tattoos!

They're totally wild to me and very foreign, I've never had any nor been in a parlor but the artwork is nearly incomprehensible in some of these!

@janton In a way its good I cannot get tattoos any more or I would want a 3D one lOL

haha! but aren't this type really really expensive? I think it would be fun to freak people out though if you loved tattoos anyway! lol.

@janton All Tattoos are expensive depends how many hours they spend working on it

okay well JJ..being someone who knows nothing about them..those large 3D tattoos that cover the whole back or chest and are so complex..that would take many visits over days..or weeks even? or am I way off?
I think those are so fascinating.

@janton NO you are right on track, they can take hours, just normal ones for a full back would take hours and hours, and if its 3D I would imagine it would take even longer

and people mention pain, are tattoos real painful or just at first and then you get used to it? someone said that a good tattoo artist would cost $200 per hour on the low end!
