LION "The King Of The Jungle"
Why called the 'King Of The Jungle?' What's with a lion's identity and characteristics that let it earn that kind of name?
The lion is an incredible and renowned cat.It is the second biggest feline after the tiger. Its scientific name is Panthera Leo. Lions have strong, compact bodies and powerful forelegs, teeth, and jaws for pulling down and killing prey. Their coats are yellow-gold.
It earned the name, the King of Jungle as a result of its might, strength, magnificence and confidence. And no other kind of animal can beat that, lion is the king of the jungle!
Anyways, that's one of the reason why I decided to draw a Lion, because it is one of the most finest and interesting animal on Earth and about its superiority over the jungle. Wow!
Materials: Pencils, sign pen, Marken pen and color pastel
Procedure:
Sketching. And as for me, I want to draw the lion's face, I want to focus how beautiful and fierce he is.
Tracing. Trace with a sign pen to finalize your lion's face. It will be then your guide all throughout to shading.
Shading. Yes then start shading!! I used black marker pen to easily the hair parts of the lion. Because I guess it will took like forever if I'll still be using a signpen upon shading. Hahaha!

Here's the result after shading! Tada hahaha
Coloring. My favorite part!! I so love playing with colors and so compared to my other recent posts, I decided now that I will add some colors using color pastel to my lion. I used all shades of yellow (from darkest to lighest) since it is the color of lion, of course and to put some variation ro its face.
And yes here's my final result!
