Princess:Portrait sketch(Pencil on Paper)
Hello everyone,
Talking about grey paper,here is another portrait pencil sketch I did for a friend(princess).I promised I was gonna share more of my sketches on a non white paper...
It was a quick one ,so using the grey paper was my only option,it helps save time..
I used a Soft Charcoal Pencil for the head gear and a white pastel pencil for the white beads used to design the head gear..
Detailed the basic facial features,Shaded the face lightly,allowing the paper to serve as my middle tone ..
The necklace was shaded with white Pastel and the shadows represented with graphite pencil.I simply made more of the paper tone the colour of the cloth..
I think I didn't do a bad job after all ..
