Bourbon Street Jazz Mural
I painted this in the outdoor stage area of the India House
I stayed at a great hostel in New Orleans called the India House. It was there that I got a gig painting some murals inside and outside of the place. This was a great experience as I painted and chatted to travelers from all over the world.
Some of these nice folks were in New Orleans doing disaster relief work after the Hurricane Katrina disaster. They enjoyed watching me paint and would often give me free drinks. Not such a bad job!
If you are going to the US and want to visit New Orleans, the home of Jazz, Blues, Gumbo, Voodoo, and Mardi Gras, I recommend that you stay at the India House Hostel
You won't regret it :)
