Entry to ART EXPLOSION WEEK 60: Theme SWEET + GIF
Hi! this drawing is my entry to @juliakponsford contest´s. The theme this time is: Sweet.
Thinking of the different meanings that this word has, and the image in my mind told me this image, as much for the sweetness of the fruit as the innocent face of the little girl. I hope you like it!
Hola! este dibujo es mi entrada al concurso de @juliakponsford. El tema en esta ocasión es: Dulce.
Pensando en los diversos significados que tiene esta palabra, y me dijo a mi mente la imagen esta imagen, tanto por la dulzura de fruta como el rostro inocente de la niña pequeña. Espero les guste!
Process/ Proceso:
1) I made a pencil sketch on a white card.
1) Hice un boceto a lapiz sobre una cartulina blanca.
2) I put layer after layer of watercolors until satisfied with the image, (with a lot of patience waiting for them to dry properly), and placed white paint on the strawberry and triangular background.
2) Fui colocando capa tras capa de acuarelas hasta quedar satisfecha con la imagen, (con mucha paciencia esperando que secaran bien cada una de ellas) y coloqué pintura blanca sobre la fresa y fondo triangular.
3) Finally: I used a pen with Chinese ink to make the contours of the girl, and a black marker (a little thicker than that of the pen) for the edges of the triangular background.
3) Finalmente: Utilicé una pluma con tinta china para hacer los contornos de la niña, y usé un marcador negro (un poco más grueso que el de la pluma) para los bordes del fondo triangular.
