Baba Yaga's Chambers
Baba Yaga was an old woman from Slavic mythology and folklore.
She was a nightmare for many generations.
When I was a kid, it really made me scared while imagining her hut on one chicken leg.
This is one of the ways in which I am fighting against fears from the past.
Painting is one of the best ways.
And this is how it all started, blur and smudge...

Vidim ovu sliku, i oduševim se kako je naslikana. Ima nešto Dalijevsko, taj nadrealistički prostor gradiš kao on u onim svojim " pustinjama". Ali jao, Baba Jaga! Kako sam mogla na nju zaboraviti! :)
Ali, meni nisu ništa pričali o njoj, više sam čituckala pa sam naletela na nju, kao neku vešticu kod Slovena.
U čemu je fora sa jednom nogom?
Hvala najlepše. Meni su pričali da joj je koliba na jednoj nozi i da jede decu koja noću sama šetaju. Inače, hvala za Dalija. On mi je idol i odrastala sam uz njegove slike, tako da je, očigledno, ostavio veliki uticaj na mene.
