Photoshop design tools allowed me to conceive the idea of manipulating, editing and restoring old photographs, to transform them into dolls and give continuity to the discourse I have been developing with the realization of sculptures artsdolls @polymorphe.doll. My fascination for making dolls came when I was around 7 years old, when they gave me a box of paper dolls.
Loretta Young Actriz
Born in Salt Lake City (Utah), her real name was Gretchen Michaela Young. Her family moved to Hollywood when she was three years old. Loretta and her sisters Polly Ann Young and Elizabeth Jane Young worked as children's actresses, with Loretta being the most successful. Young's first role was with three years of age in the silent film The Primrose Ring. In 1928 his stage name changed to "Loretta Young", in The Whip Woman movie.
Elaboration Process
Reference images:
- Select the old portrait
- Face modifications Filter -> Liquify
- Selection with wand or pen ---> the face and neck of the model
- Select path
- Create a new layer
- Paint brown the new layer with "Balde" in skin
- Paint brown the new layer with "Bucket" Green eyes
- Layer options from the previous selections ----> color, then lower opacity
- Create new layers and pine by selecting ---> brush tool.
- Smoother corrections and transitions with layer mask
