Splashes effects in watercolor
Hi, guys!
Today I decided that my posts will be more about the ways how I create my art then about art itself, and of course I can't avoid paying some attention to watercolor splashes. It's one of my favorite techniques, and I often use it for background.
At first I usually make line art for the main object (in the center). My style works in such away that I always divide background and the main object, and always mix ink with watercolor. So, I work with line art of the main object first. Now, when I have a clear border, I soak all paper around it, and just start chaotically putting splashes in different color around it.
Colors mix with each other, so be careful with putting them close, they must be OK with coming together.
One more thing that I love to do afterwards is to add splashes with white watercolor:

Watercolour splashes are so pretty XD What do you mean by "they must be okay with coming together" as in they should mix to make a nice colour?
