Halloween is coming! Original art in colored pencils and a little morning thoughts writing
Hi, guys!:)
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. If you know me here long enough then you know that I'm not a fan of attending partys, I'm the one who prefers to stay home with a good book and with my cell phone on silent mode. But Halloween ruins this tradition:)
Unfortunately, tradition of celebrating Halloween only comes now to my country, and it happens really slow. I'm not complaining, we already have Comic Con for three years and of course it's a victory, but I wish it happened a bit faster, after all I would like to have all this pleasure while I'm still alive:)
People of older age here either don't know about Halloween at all, or their attitude to it is aggressive. "How can you walk in the streets looking like that?" is the mildest thing they can say. But whatever, I quite often hear the same about my piercing and tattoos. This does not characterize me, but it characterize them quite good. As people who can't just mind their own business.
Again, unfortunately yesterday, when we had a parade I was at doctor's appointment to check out how my eyes reacted on surgery, so I have no photos from Halloween. But well, it's still coming, right? So I'll just replace them with a few photos from Comic Con, for the start:)
If you had a parade in your city I will be happy if you'll throw me the link on your post in the comments below, I really love to look at different typed of creative costumes!:)
I wish you all the best and will be happy if you'll support me with vote:)
Love, Inber
I enjoyed the drawing, and am looking forward to your Halloween pics.
good post. I will go to one Halloween party and I post the pictures of the costumes :)
Celebrating the Dead hmmmm will check my calendar for that here in Nigeria
The costume (the TREE) shown in 3rd image = one I preferred.
I am like you (enjoy #reading, not much of one for parties).
Happy Halloween, anyway
Fab pictures, some people are far to quick to judge someone just because they have tattoos and piercings, maybe they should take time and say hello they might get a surprise :)
You're absolutely right! But the truth is that they're always too quick to judge by appearance.
My oldest daughter is covered in tattoos, people need to open there minds
