Chronos original art - ancient God of Time - work in process, inking

As a student I was really interested in mythology, and Greek mythology as well. One of the chthonic  Greek gods was Chronos, the god of time. The one who gave birth to three elements - water, fire and air.

Most of artists depicted Chronos with a plait, and it seems to me that it's one of the reasons why death received plait as a symbol. After all, time also is a killer.

Today I'm showing the first part of work, the part with ink contour. Later when it'll get completely dry I'll continue with colored ink and watercolor, and then will make one more layer with black ink.
