Take it from me, lazy art is very popular and the reason behind its popularity is that artists can get away with it much easier than they could if their work was done properly. Before we go any further I am going to have to ask you a question. Why do you think that people consider their art lazy? Well the answer to this question might surprise you.


When an artist starts to paint his canvas, he does not think about how beautiful the end product will be. He is so focused on getting the work done that all he really thinks about is getting the work done. In most cases the results that he gets are not what he is hoping for. The results are usually something that is below what he had hoped for. This is because he did not put as much effort into his work.

The mindset that I am talking about is one that involves having your eyes on the work all the time during the entire painting process. Without that mindset nothing will ever be a beautiful work of art, because your mind will not be able to see what is truly there.

If you were to paint a painting where you are just sitting and staring at the painting, you would not call it beautiful. You would probably just sigh and move on to something else. To call a painting beautiful you have to use your mind. You have to think about the painting and think about it as though you were actually there. Now this does not mean that a painting will be beautiful for someone who only has their mind set on looking at the work all the time. If you try to force your thoughts and feelings into your art then you will end up creating an illusion. Your painting will look perfect to you but to anyone else, even those who really enjoy looking at your work, it will look like a picture taken out of some cheap magazine.

The best way to create meaningful and beautiful art is to let your feelings and thoughts flow naturally. This is the best way to truly capture your audience's attention. A lot of artists get caught up in how great their paintings look and how they want to show them off. This is a good thing and part of the art process but it should never come before the artist is happy with the final work. In order to truly be happy with your artwork, you have to let your mind do other things while you paint.
