In terms of marketing, the logo has an identity function that distinguishes a product with other products. All of them can not be separated from the essence of the logo itself, as a work of art which is usually in the form of dual dimension or tri dimension. As a work of art, a logo can not be separated from the elements of basic art that shaped like a line, shape, color, space, typography.

Which means, a successful logo designer and trademark, needs to have basic skill and drawing skills in relation to the sensitivity to the design aesthetic elements.

The definition of the line according to the Graphic Lexicon is a thin, two-dimensional object extending. While Lillian Gareth defines the line as a set of points that when dragged then the dimension of its length will look prominent and the figure is called the line.
The formation of lines is the movement of a point that traces the trace so as to form a scratch. To cause scars, use pencils, pens, brushes and others. For the line art has a fundamental function, so it is like the heart of art. Lines are often called contours, a word that is vague and rarely used.

The importance of the line as a visual element, has been seen since time immemorial. Ancient human ancestors, using this line as a medium of artistic expression in the caves.
