Painting my little sister with oils! 🎨🖌️
Hi steemians sharing with you today a recent oil painting I did of my little sister. Practicing a similar style to Michael Malm paintings.
This was the process that went into it.
The reference photo I used I put a posterize filter on it through a digital software. This simplified it to a few basic colours to help with painting.
I added some finishing touches including a dark background to bring out the bright colours in the hair.
Time: About 1-2 hours
