Colors of Cabanas - Part 1
The small village town of Cabanas de Tavira (Huts of Tavira), is located in the Ria Formosa (Formosa Estuary), in the municipality of Tavira in the Algarve, in Portugal. It is 30 minutes from Faro, the capital of the District, and 30 minutes from Spain.
The name derives, as it is said, that it was formerly here in this locality, that the fishermen of Tavira had their huts, where they kept the materials necessary for their activity, which at the time was dominated by the tuna fishery, called the Albacoras or the Almadrastas.
-Fishing for flowers / colors
I go several times a year to Cabanas de Tavira and I am still fascinated by the white light that the Algarve coast has. The flowers reflect this energetic strength, in an exceptional and stunning way.
I have chosen several examples, from my photographic "fishing trips", that try to show the variety, beauty and intensity of the colors.
