More Snippets of the Journey

I wrote an article today for a Christian artist’s magazine about the Celtic concept of peregrinatio, or journeying for the love of God. Pilgrimage on steroids. I first read about those hardy monks and scribes back when I was writing my dissertation on medieval Irish poetry in college (over 10 years ago! 😮) and it has stuck with me ever since.

They’d pick up and just... go. Out into the wild, the forests, across the oceans with nothing but their faith and their prayers to sustain them...
