A Little Story and A Big Painting!

Hello there Headless Friends!

I wanted to share this little tale and the biggest artwork I have done to date with you...It is a story filled with synchronisity, intuition and mandalas!

So, It was a super sunny Monday and I randomly decided to do an extra market outside this little Raw Vegan Cafe in my local beachside town. I set up my stand, set out my art supplies and sat in the sun painting all morning. I made a couple of little sales, nothing to exciting. Till....this lady strolled past and took one look at a mandala I had painted, looked up and asked me "How big can you re-paint this?".... The next day she confirmed her order and commissioned the biggest artwork I have done to date!

Just to note...only one store that was a trek from my little town had a piece of paper big enough to do this...Hand made in Spain it is definitely the most expensive piece of paper I have ever purchased!

So...you ready to hear what makes this story so good? I agreed to drop the painting off at her house even though i dont usually do this because she lives right next to a sister who I wanted to talk with about a possible business venture that my partner and I had been brainstorming....Think co-ordinating/styling/creating wedding events that are way more than your traditional ideas of what a wedding should be. We would actually be there for a couple as they move into the next chapter of their lives emotionally and mentally. Using "spirituality", intuition and the universe to help guide these souls and create a truely special ceremony for them and their loved ones. So...i go to drop off this painting....She takes one look at it and says "Jessica its the most beautiful thing I have ever seen." Now...thats a massive complement coming from anyone, but once we went inside her house and sat and talked I realised just how special this complement was...she ended up being a pretty massive wedding event stylist/co-ordinator, florist specialising in weddings, has had her work published in countless magazines internationally AND had a million contacts under the sun (editors/stylists/event company CEOS/wedding co-ordinators/stylists/florists) whom I was more than welcome to get in contact with! She loved the idea of approaching such a niche in the industry and offered time and contacts to help me get the information I needed to get started and guidance along the way.

I literally barely made it to my car before I completely burst out laughing!!!!! Im definitely glad I got out of bed on that sunny Monday thats for sure :)
