Poetry Dice Challenge 1 : Cognitions and Constraints
This is my attempt at @ robyneggs Poetry Dice challenge.
Check it out. It's a fun little contest. Each line is inspired by a symbol on a selected series of cool little picture dice.

What may seem to be an illuminating truth, can sometimes be no more than an alteration in perception.
So fixed a thought as to lead to risky impulsive leaps of faith.
Ideas shaped and strongly visualised in the minds eye, so fixed is its gaze, never faltering, and never blinking.
Seeking momentary refuge, shelter from a confusing world, these ideas server to sooth the restless mind.
Endeavouring to rationalise and balance the immeasurable and the intangible, the mind constructs and confabulates to impose equilibrium and contain stability.
Calculated measures, countermeasures and amendments are applied to strictly maintain this elaborate delusional system.
Delicate extraordinary atypical minds, can indeed succumb to a random world of chance and perplexing game play.
In order to keep a firm grip on terra firma and continue to walk tall in this world and not run from it, the maintenance of this construct is paramount.
