Drawing with felt and thread
Free motion drawing.
Hand stitching the things I usually draw.
As usual, slow and steady.
I'm currently trying to find patience and humility.
So I do a little self imposed diversion therapy and rest.
This is my latest.
It's a humble beginning but has been quite satisfying.
This one has been a labour of love
It has pockets too.
I'm thinking of maybe stitching it on a tote when finished or on a cushion with secret treasure compartments.
I have hit so many road blocks trying to control the situation I find myself in with my health.
Accepting that I cannot control or fix some things has been a difficult lesson to learn.
I am grateful that I have my husband looking after everyone while I am Basket Weaving.
These look great, definitely add them to some kind of cushion. Individual, just like you!

Maybe if you create enough of them, they could be stitched into a quilt.

These are really really beautiful and creative. I took a textiles class in college and we did all kinds of cool things like this. We did a small weaving tapestry, learned different dyeing techniques, etc. My grandmother taught me how to cross stitch, quilt, sew, crochet, etc. so this type of stuff is near and dear to my heart! Love it :)
