Dadiani Fine Art, a gallery in Mayfair, will soon accept any of the six leading digital currencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin as payment for artworks.
It is the first in the UK.

Eleesa Dadiani, the owner of the London based gallery said:
“We are combining old world business ethics and practice with the new world of technology – the current system is becoming stale and needs to be disrupted"

She also added
"This could be a turning point for the cryptocurrency market, which has been sidelined by traditional businesses, like art galleries, for many years."

The hope of the gallery is to attract more buyers with this open-minded change.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be accepted at the new exhibition, opening on July 14th 2017 where sculptures made from the exhausts of Formula One cars are expected to sell for around £25,000 to £30,000.

But this is not all!!!
Dadiani is planning to launch its own cryptocurrency in the near future, which will be called DadiCoin.

I personally don't know what to think about the DadiCoin, but the fact that art is welcoming cryptocurrency, it is a step in the right direction.

Sort:

las cryptomoneda se expanden y no tienen freno.

Very Cool! But it'll be real progress when companies/organizations start taking bitcoin and it doesn't get any news coverage.

Well, realistically talking, that time may never arrive..
