"Santiago" handcut collage 100/70 cm.Entry for ART EXPLOSION WEEK 40.
Santiago is a product of the collaboration between me and a friend of mine who was a photographer and traveller. Back at 2012 we made a collage series based on her photographs and titled Paper Travels. Santiago is made of photographs from Andalucia, Spain and it based on the portrait o fa street guitarist there.
Unfortunaly i have no process photos only some "backstage" action:)

This wouldn't look out of place in one of those futuristic movies, Blade Runner-like, that combine the traditional with the futuristic. I'm imagining a robot guitarist of traditional Spanish music.
That would be fun:) Actually it is made out of a church interior, a lot of stained glass windows and arches gave this robot like image.
