Mistress of Chaos, digital collage entry for ART EXPLOSION WEEK 52.
This week's theme was Sea Creatures and i had the idea of creating a mermaid kind of creature. I started searching the net for possible images that could fit my idea but after sometime i decided to take a different path. Collage as medium can lead you to a very different result than the one you had in mind when you started planning your creation. It is like a train of thought, you find a combination of photos that inspire you and then
all the other images lead you, one after another. Like a pattern.
So instead of the Mermaid i had in mind i ended up with a a Cosmic Monstrosity of aquatic roots, kind of cute and sexy but not with the best intentions for our planet..
