Drawing with no reference (Original character) "Tiger Tank" pt 1 (Learning to draw from imagination)
Hey steemit i just recently decided to give myself the giant goal of learning to draw anything from any perspective from my imagination, I have to teach myself a bunch of ideas n' concepts on how we view and depict reality and I plan to track my progress and goal on steemit.
a few weeks ago I made it my goal to be able to do a decent observational drawing (looking at reference) with no pencil or eraser, marker/pen. Here's the progress I made
The tiger tank is my best drawing from my imagination after practicing drawing squares and spheres all morning
(I'll get more into why I was drawing squares and circles all morning in my next post) Here are some pages of other drawings from my imagination
Stay tuned for my next post on the topic and let me know what you guys think on my tiger tank and new goal

super good.. wanna design an original artwork for a song release for me?
If I can get some more details I'll definitely consider it
I'm working up to drawing true to life from my inner vision too...I've been sketching what I see around me for a while, and before that I was drawing only abstract patterns and shapes. I used to (when I was in my teens) only draw in pencil first before putting ink to paper. After a long hiatus from drawing, I picked it back up and decided "screw the pencil, I don't need it". I love your style and I think your tiger tank has a solid foundation. Keep refining until you are blown away by your own creation!
May I ask, why the war theme?
Thanks, and because of the complexity of the clothing/ technology
Awesome. I totally understand that. Things with the most detail are the most fun to draw. By the way, the brush pens you use, are they lightfast/waterproof? I have used a few (brush pens) myself, but I've found none that have all the qualities I desire
