Reusing perfectly good "trash" is definitely more sustainable than allowing it to go to waste. Otherwise, all the material, labor, energy, and extraction of resources that went into making a product is completely forsaken AND it goes on to pollute the Earth. It is a way to express your own values. Nice to hear you have some consideration for our planet and other people rather than mindlessly participating in the waste cycle.
