Trash Polka Tattoo Design
The Story
Curnelty, I am visiting Old School Tattoo Shop. It was not too long ago when I wrote an article about the shop and the profesionals who work there.
It is about time to get things to the next level and I am hyper lucky to know these guys and have this opportunity.
Apart from obeserving their work and creating designs for training , I now have the chance to make some real tattoos! My first "victim" will be the other apprentice of the shop with a traditional swallow design. Right now I don't have it with me, but if you stick around in the next couple of days you will see it.
Next will be a guy who told me some time ago that he is interested in a tattoo and when he found out that I am in Stara Zagora he agreed to make an appointment. He likes the Trash Polka style combined with realism. Even though I told him about my lack of experience with this style, he replied that he belives in me. On one hand I am flattered by his support, on the other I am a bit nervous. Mostly I am excited though.
Desinging process
Basically, I took two images from the internet and combined them in Photoshop.
After printing the image, I traced the outlines needed. This was done using a LED light pad I recently bought from aliexpress and would like to recommend it. It is extremely useful and practical.
After the outlines were done, I added the other details like the halftone and brush strokes and voilà.
I can't wait to see it!
