The unfolding story of how I became a professional artist (week 6)
Onward toward the goal! This week is still an experimental week for me to still continue to find big shapes and start to become more comfortable with the copic markers as practice. I went with a basic set up of warm shades to keep myself from getting too crazy with values and to just focus on finding the more dominant shapes. I got a Copic Markers 12-Piece Sketch Set, Warm Gray and used the 10, 30, 50, and 70 percent. The rough sketches were done using the Pentel Pocket Brush Pen and I've been using this to keep myself from getting too serious about details during the quick poses. I really like the way the brush pen looks and even when going loose I do feel like the gesture and the energy is still present. As always, please enjoy!
