Star Gazing memories plus Art tutorial
Wassup everyone! I was busy at work and doing on my new hobbies some abstract painting and photography in my spare time. I am so excited to share them here on steemit soon.
I can see a lot of posts about the destruction of our environment also more animals became endangered aside from that I can also see that more people are more concerned about their favorite TV shows. Here in the southeast, METEOR GARDEN is a very famous TV series it even has 4 (four) version the Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese and the recent Chinese which is currently aired here in the Philippines. My favorite version is the Taiwanese aired here during 2003.
image source pixybay Why I am talking about this and sound like I have a scattered mind. Well actually early 2000, during midnight where skies have lesser dense of pollution. I and my friends always stay outside the very shiny moon on weekends. I can still remember how bright moonlight can be. We always wait for shooting stars and some meteor showers during midnight and yes we don't need telescopes. They say wishing upon a shooting star can make your dreams came true. Well, who doesn't like stars by the way?Time passes by star gazing was replaced by other hobbies like online games and streaming on the internet and a lot of stuff offered by technology. A lot of things changed. All I see is a vast of dark skies and very few stars. For almost two decades I saw how drastic the world changed, from the fast advancement of technology and in the status of our mother earth.
I decided to make an art of a Milkyway. As an amateur photographer, I wanna shoot I wonderful picture of it someday.
source pixybay Milkyway is found near Sagittarius constellation and Saturn, I am so lucky I am located in this area. Just completing my gears and booking my travel in the less polluted spot will make me have my first picture. I want my grandchildren to see the beauty of the skies in their generation. I am making this post to make all of us stop for a moment to think about nature and be reminded of our responsibilities. Stargazing is just a cheap and ordinary hobby but I am surprised it is slowly fading. I made an art tribute using watercolor and some nice background music by Ysabella's cover of Qing Fei De Yi - by Harlem Yu.THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FOR FREE!
YOU WILL APPRECIATE WHAT YOU HAD WHEN IT IS GONE
When was the last time you stopped thinking about earthly problems and looked up the sky and appreciate it for a moment? I challenge you to do some star gazing tonight, yes! Tonight and try to appreciate it and also try to come up on some ideas on how to preserve that view each night in your own little ways. I would love to hear them on the comment section.
Please support my friend @jacinta.sevilla on her advocacy for our mother nature she uses art as her voice.
