How to create a render with Vray in 3ds max
V-Ray is a rendering engine used as an extension for some computational graphics applications, such as 3ds max, maya, mode, sketchUp, Nuke, among others. The main developers of V-Ray are Vladimir Koylazov and Peter Mitev of Chaos Software Production Studio, established in 1997 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

A STANDARD IN THE INDUSTRY: Independent artists and the best studios choose V-Ray every day to create world-class visual effects and designs.
Procedure for creating the render:
1) The first thing to do is to search and open the 3ds Max file (Scene).
2) Then, we must search and place the materials and textures to the different parts of the scene.
For this we must do the following:
- With the dropper Object Sorter of the material editor, we point and double click on the material that we want to place the texture. As an example I will use the furniture.
Next a window will open where we will see a series of options, where we will select each of them and insert the respective textures. It is done as follows:
We give you a click where it is in a red box.
- On maps, we select Diffuse
- Next, we click on the option marked with the red box in the image shown.
- Next to Bitmap, and from there we look for the folder where the different textures of the scene are contained.
Note: Everything explained above is in case a model does not have textures or we want to change it.
3) Now, after having everything ready, we proceed to configure our render, for this we select Render Setup.
- The first thing is to search in Common and configure the resolution we want our render to have.
- Also, we can place the resolution as shown in the following image:
4) Later we selected the Render Engine in Assign Renderer.
- Then we see in Production.
5) Finally, we give render and wait for the rendering process.
- I expect 100% of the rendering.
