RE: My pyrography works
Right now I post here not to earn those few cents but to see what works well. What type of pieces can get a better responce. Besides by posting here I collect all the free praises. I love what I do. But seeing someone appreciate my work is always nice. I am well aware that this is just my pride and ego speaking. But pride and ego are beneficial as well. They can be a driving force that pushes us towards your goals. But in some cases that same pride is harmful. "I put a lot of effort into this piece" or "creating this took a long time so it must sell without me paying for ads/ bots" I understand that this way of thinking is poisonous and stupid. Still it is very hard to overcome that line of thought. It is like some kind of mental block. And so far I have not succeeded in breaking through it. I am stubborn to a fault. I still expect gallery thing to work out. If it doesn't I will have to look for alternatives like the ones you suggested.
You need to spend money to asess the demand. You can't afford to be a "starving artist". There's nothing noble in unjustifiable sacrifice.
