How to make fake grass for models

You will need

• a plastic bag
• a fine sieve
• sawdust
• green paint or spray paint

method

Open out the plastic bag and place the sieve inside. Then add a handful of sawdust into the sieve.

Now using your hands, carefully move around the sawdust, trying not spill the large pieces into the bag.

What you will be left with is the fine dust in the bag. You can do this several times to get the desired amount.

Then add you green paint into the bag and use your hand’s to mix the sawdust with the paint.
You can close the bag and do this so you don’t get your hands dirty.

The result with be a grass like dust that you can add to your models by simply glueing it on.
