Sixth Art Project for Kids - Making a Cardboard Robot
Recently Emily and Tomek had a movie night and watched Wall-E, since then she is obsessed with robots :). Knowing her determination, I had only one choice to embrace it and create something that she would be able to play with. We had a go in making a robot, I think it came out pretty good and Emily loves it! She danced with it, played and shared dinner. I love listening to her happy voice and it makes it worth all the effort!
To create the robot we used some cardboard boxes and decorated them with cut outs from glittery foam and paper. We made a hat with wool on top and stick eyes. I love recycling everyday things to create something for Emily, it is awesome when she can play with things that she helped to make.
