Just something trippy to look at & get lost in. I love how optical illusions mess with perspective & sometimes trick your mind into seeing something that is not there.

Abstract Art

What do you see? In most art, the figure stands out clearly from the background. However, the image shown here has been abstracted so strongly that only white and black surfaces can be seen. These seem so mixed that they can be both figure and background.

If we are creative its possible to see a variety of forms or sometimes none at all. Once a certain shape has been recognized in the picture, most people can not see what they have seen before. The picture shows two cows facing the viewer.

Klecker Kunst

Was sehen Sie? In den meisten Bildern, die wir sehen, hebt sich die Figur klar vom Hintergrund ab. Das hier gezeigte Foto ist allerdings so stark abstrahiert worden, dass nur noch weisse und schwarze Flachen zu sehen sind. Diese scheinen so vermischt, das sie zunachst sowohl Figur als auch Hintergrund sein konnen.

Wir werden kreativ und sehen eine Vielzahl con moglichen Formen oder manchmal auch gar keine. Hat man aber einmal eine bestimmte Form in dem Bild erkannt, konnen die meisten Menschen nicht mehr sehen, was sie zuvor wahrgenommen haben. Das Bild zeigt zwei dem betrachter zugewandte Kuhe.

Waterfall

If you focus for a few seconds on the middle of the image, you might begin to see movement. The ovals seem to move up and down from the center, as if they were continually flowing along like a waterfall.

Wasserfall

Ein bewegender Augenblick bietet sich hier dem Betrachter. Beharrlich scheinen die Ovale sich von der Mitte aus nache oben und unten zu bewegen, so als wolten sie wie ein Wasserfall endlos weiterfliessen.
