Throughout my Study, I have developed variety of acknowledgement about abstract expressionism which has inspired me to investigate the movement, and its history. As the history of Abstract art is the single movement to express the feeling of depression, in this topic I would be talking how the movement reflects the refugee crisis in the 1940s during World War II. As the world is witnessing the repeating history once again the flood of the Syria refugee and North Africa, It’s not difficult to see this historically 1940s refugee crisis as a reputation of today’s asylum seekers .

Among them, there are artists and others with multiple skills. As it happened to these artists: - “Josef Albers, Hans Hofmann, who became influential teachers when they came to the U.S and many others who had a great influence on artists in America, Arshile Gorky Mark Rothko, and others had come to America even earlier, in the second and third decades of the century, from Holland, Armenia and Russia, respectively” And also I would be talking about artists reflecting the crisis in their work and abstract painting as being the appropriate movement to represent crisis. Despite the beauty and the deep artistic, colourful profile of abstract expressionism, many critics would label it as a non- real art. Critics may think those kind of abstract art hold nothing except beauty.

The new movement called Abstract Expressionism established in America in the 1940’s and 50’s. The expressionist artists came together with what we know today the New York School of Art. The period applied to new methods of abstract art raised out of the great, tragic era of the twentieth century. Expressionist spotted its external crisis of the world and proposed to create an art form related to human life. In this investigation I will be looking to Jackson Pollock as Expressing feeling and emotions through art with his most powerful technique angry energy into a productive expression in creative way. Arshile Gorky is known as one of the first American artists of the 20th century and a influential figure in the establishment of Abstract Expressionism which could express the human mind and spirit in a
new way

Most of the artists were influenced by the political crisis developed in the European continent, the World War II and the holocaust - a genocide that cost the life of six million people. The catastrophic Political crisis in Europe in the late 1940s forced several artists to abandon any realistic object by 1940s their expressive style was established. It was purely an emotional expression resulted by the loss of millions of human lives. More specifically, during the World War II over 60 million people were killed, a number that would represent 3% of the world population in the 1940’s.Abstract expressionism played a crucial role expressing event of crisis, from Europe during the Great Depression and World War II.

Abstract expressionism was strongly influenced by European refugees who had grown up during the Depression , and were influenced both by World War II and the 30 years civil war between 1914 and 1945. Associating the abstract expressionism with worsening refugee crisis in Europe is a way to express the unnatural disaster of the refugee in 21st century. This topic will discuss the purpose of this movement during the1940s, and how dose displacement of refugees effect the expressionist art work. In the art expressionism, the subject of refugees is important to be discussed as the movement sets very well. Further discussion of the crisis of the human Feelings and reactions will be emphasized. As an artist I would discuss the impact of enforced migration, and how new environment have affected my practice. My influence and inspiration of abstract expressionism is the best relief of sadness loneliness and expressing inner feeling through painting.

I have to add this. This is not a "Refugee" crisis. This is people smuggling and planned invasion of Europe. That boat above is 100% men military age. This was planned over 50 years ago. This is against what the European people want. Currently West Europe is a war zone.

that is your opinion, your more than welcome to express your self dude. i would like to read your content if you can explain about the plan you talking and who planed it?

It's not my opinion it's the European people's opinion. I don't have time to argue with someone that is clueless and has no idea what is going on in the world.

no time for hater :) narrow-minded people like you they cling desperately to their own way of thinking. They think they’re always right and have no qualms about attacking anyone who contradicts them. They’re almost always outdated stuck in time.

Yes because the increase of rape and terrorism in Europe is delusional? This is facts and reality. People smuggling is a real thing and it's a billion dollar industry. Is it narrow minded when a female gets raped? Is that being a hater in your mind? I have travelled around in Europe and seen it with my own eyes. Do the European people want an invasion? No. I'm on the Europeans side

I Like This Post. That's Very Amazing@expressionism
