Este poema lo encontré entre mis muchos papeles casi olvidados y me pareció lindo compartirlo con ustedes!(This poem I found among my many almost forgotten papers and I found it nice to share it with you!)
Inmóvil
Un barco inmóvil
detrás de un árbol de tamarindo.
Los pájaros negriamarillos
surcan el espacio que me separa del mar
Las nubes, arropan las colinas hartas de tanto sol
Los gallos se confunden y cantan al amanecer
cuando el astro renace sobre la tierra
A lo lejos,
un ejército de palmeras
se acerca
a beber agua de la orilla
Todos miran a la serpiente de estela
con cabeza de peñero
que cruza de izquierda a derecha del paisaje
Un cuerpo inmóvil sobre el tejado
es único testigo de que el mundo parece no girar.
Still
A stationary boat
behind a tamarind tree.
The black-and-yellow birds
they plow the space that separates me from the sea
Clouds, clothe the hills fed up with so much sun
Roosters get confused and sing at dawn
when the star is reborn on earth
In the distance,
an army of palm trees
approaches
to drink water from the shore
Everyone looks at the wake snake
with a peñero head
that crosses from left to right of the landscape
A motionless body on the roof
it is the only witness that the world seems not to turn.
