Yes, your quasi-method of sorting your ideas out onto paper (/digital canvas) makes sense to me. Over the past few months since I became active on steemit again I've gained priceless insight and imagination fuel by interacting with other artists. Portraits are captivating to both artist and viewer. Humans love looking at other humans, it seems to be one of those things that's "programmed" into us. Photos are fantastic - instant (accurate) gratification. And yet handmade portraits retain their charm and appeal.

As far as the portrait style that inspired you to pick up watercolor, it's coming! Perhaps it's one of your greatest works in the making ☺
