Drawing Exercise
The last drawing that I made was such a long time ago, and lately all I've been working on is getting familiar with paint.
Awhile back, I tried drawing this figure from the same photo reference, and I don't know what was going on that night but I just couldn't do it. It didn't work out, I was feeling deflated, and I put the pencil down.
I kept hanging on to the reference because I wanted to come back and try drawing it again, and now I've finally revisited it.
Very happy to have given it another shot.
Here's the basic sketch. It's going to get a lot more love and attention to flesh it out.

Thank you! This "talent" is the fruit of years and years of training. Although it's admittedly been a couple of years since I picked up the pencil, I previously spent some 20 years honing my skill. 😁
