Henna Tattoo for Sinulog.,
Cebu, Philippines, Every third Sunday of January. Sinulog festival is held in the very heart of Cebu. It is a fiesta about the child Jesus. But the fun thing about this event is that the people is engaging in art. HENNA is a temporary tattoo that is artificially made. Henna is also known in India for their culture. But here in Cebu henna is also wide known since t is also part of the Cebuano's culture to paint their body for decorative purposes.
Henna in Cebu is made up of simple things
- hair blackening.
- black cream silk ( a conditioner in the Phil)
- lemon zest
As an artist it is a great opportunity to do henna as a side job. Many of my friends also like the way i draw Henna and its a song in the ear when they admire my art. These are one of my friends whom I did my Henna !
Also their are some foreign people whom I met and done some Tattoo but unfortunately i didn't have a chance to get some pictures. But overall I am proud of my self in doing these things. And to every Cebuano's put there PIT SENIOR ^_^
