A Walk With M.O.M. (Mobile Ops Mech)
Just finished up this piece, animated it, and set it to music. I enjoyed putting this one together. Here is how:
I started with DAZ Studio creating a little diorama with DAZ3D models. This took a bit of time, like with any model build. Choosing what pieces look best and fitting them together...
Once I had a rough draft, I rendered the image with a sunset lighting scheme. I figured this would help later when I used my image editor to layer on the details and create a nice night shade by using two layers of overlay (midnight Colour) at various opacities.
Once i got to this point, I used my image editor to layer in the darkness, old buildings, fog, night sky, shadows, a few bushes and other things to make the image come to life. One of the most important steps was to dirty the Mech and boy's clothes up, adding dirt and damage.
What we have here is the final version that was then animated in Pixaloop where the fireflies were added and animation was achieved for video. Once done, I then went to my movie editor to add the sound effects and music.
