Hello!
This is the drawing I showed in my last post, one of the two that participated in the competition in which I was, but I had not uploaded this to Steemit, so today I bring it and show a little of its process.
¡Hola! Este es el dibujo que mostré en mi ultimo post, uno de los dos que participaron en la competencia en la que estuve, pero no lo había subido a Steemit, por eso hoy lo traigo y mostraré un poco de su proceso.
When I saw the movie of Monsters University I loved it, that's why I decided it would be fun to draw the characters but with a twist, so I made them more human, leaving them some of their monster traits to not lose their essence. At the beginning of the movie Sully was the popular and relaxed guy, also despite being younger than in the first movie was still very big, so I made him an athlete, with the college jacket and smiling while making his characteristic gesture.
Cuando vi la pelicula de Monster University me encantó, es por eso que decidí que sería divertido dibujar a los personajes pero con un pequeño gran giro, así que los hice más humanos, dejandoles algunos de sus rasgos de monstruo para que no perdieran su escencia. Al comienzo de la pelicula Sully era el chico popular y relajado, además a pesar de ser más joven que en la primera pelicula seguía siendo muy grande, por eso lo hice como un deportista, con la chaqueta de la universidad y sonriendo mientras hace su gesto característico.

So here is the process:
Comencé haciendo una conceptualización del personaje, para esto lo dibujé varias veces, sin preocuparme que saliera bien, en diferentes posiciones y haciendo diferentes expresiones.
Luego hice el boceto digitalmente en Paint Tool SAI, me enfoqué en hacer bien su anatomía.
Para comenzar a colorear primero puse los colores base de todo el dibujo.
Después puse sombras básicas y algunas texturas.
Agregué más sombras, detalles como el logo de la universidad y finalmente un fondo sencillo, y aquí está el dibujo terminado.
