Babies are probably the hardest figures to proportion correctly. I think I managed to get it right on this one. Again, I was inspired by Art Nouveau for this one. If I had to do it again I think I would fix the hands and the mother’s face, something is not quite right. I think it’s the position of the eye. It’s definitely the position of the eye.
I’m posting every painting I have ever done from 2014 to the present, the good, the bad, and the ugly. With an occasional photograph or sketch thrown in just to mix things up. Check back daily to see my progression as an “artist”!
