I'm back and today this is my exclusive"ulog" for me to share to you guys, im going to show a crafting of a miniature katana and this is im good at. I hope you will like it.

This was created using casual crafting materials. You know, scissors, cutters, glue, pencil, eraser, ruler and paint. And most importantly, popsicle sticks

So first I outlined and planned how I want the katana to look. A generic slightly curved blade, with a circular hand guard and a two-hand hilt.

Then I using a cutter and wire cutter, I separated the pieces to give me a workable material.

Then using a low grit sandpaper (specifically 100cw) I shaped the pieces as my outline... outlines. I used a vice to hold the smaller piece while I'm sanding it.

And then, using a high grit sandpaper (specifically 280cw) I polished the work so it would look realistic and to also get rid of the oil that got caught up from the vice.

And after that, using the 280 grit sandpaper, I added the final touch for the woodwork. More specific, the sharpened edge of the blade and the curved tip of the hilt.

So I checked on how it will look before I glued them together. I also added a small hole on the hand guard so that the blade and the hilt will have a better grip than just the super glue.

Then I cut the hole. Unfortunately, I cut the handguard in half and also managed to cit myself.

Fortunately, it was an easy fix as in just putting super glue on it and I also glued it to the blade.

I didn't glue the hilt yet cause I wanted to add string for better grip. Or in this case, for aesthetics only. I also added super glue on the string so even when the tie is cut lose, it will stay there.

Then after the superglue dried, I painted the blade's sharpened edge and the handguard with silver.

Then I added the black for the rest of the blade and coloured the tip of the hilt with silver.

The I coloured the side of the handguard with black so it would give a bigger contrast.

Then I glued the hilt to the rest of the build to finish of this project.

I just hope it would be enough to kill this duramboros that I have been wanting to kill for ages but can't cause I don't have access to any monster hunter game but the minecraft mod.
