I was looking at her like Clark Kent,
She was the one I had,
In my dreams.
Every time we were together I minded only
The amount of stress and the tension
Our work inflicted upon us,
Now I know that Superman is not enough
To live a life with a woman of your dreams,
The tension proceeds to this day even when I fly.
Superman affiliation is my own super standard,
I stop bullets and shoot laser from my eyes,
But I can't make a woman see me when I'm a simple fellow,
With glasses and deadlines to sit and fit.
